Peer Advisor Program

Who are we?

Health Systems Management Peer Advisors are HSMT majors who provide peer-to-peer academic advising for declared HSMT majors. 

Why see a peer advisor?

Peer advisors have the knowledge and skills to assist with HSMT course sequencing, graduation plans, and utilizing campus resources.

How do I meet with a peer advisor?

Peer advisors will hold virtual advising hours starting September 21st, 2020, and ending December 15th, 2020 (excluding holidays).  HSMT students can schedule appointments with peer advisors through Connect.  The virtual advising schedule will be released prior to September 21st, 2020. 

HSMT majors can also contact the peer advisors by emailing  A peer advisor will respond to your email within 1-2 business days.

Ragaen Gamble

Minors: Child and Family Development & Public Health
Hobbies: Reading, hanging out with friends, playing with my dog, watching Netflix.
Co-curricular activities: HSMTA and Zeta Tau Alpha.

Kimberly Garcia

Hobbies: Cooking, drawing, DIY crafts, journaling, yoga, and spending time outdoors.
