The University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a nine-month Lecturer position in the Department of Public Health Sciences. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department’s undergraduate programs, which include a BS in Health Systems Management, a BSPH, and a Public Health minor. The expected start date is August 16, 2021.
Candidates must have either a doctoral degree or a master’s degree and two years of practice experience in health administration, public health, or a related field by August 2021. Candidates are expected to present evidence of commitment to quality undergraduate teaching and advising. The extent to which the candidate can contribute to the vision and mission of the department will be considered. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience teaching diverse undergraduate student populations and a demonstrated commitment to public health workforce development.
Forthcoming Metrolina Distinguished Professor in Health & Public Policy
The Metrolina Distinguished Professor of Health and Public Policy offers a senior scholar the opportunity to lead collaborative, interdisciplinary research in health and public policy and teach courses relevant to health and public policy and support the goals of the Department. Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate in a health-related field and eligibility for appointment at the rank of either Associate Professor or Professor with tenure in the Department.
