Friday, April 14, 2017

Dr. Larissa R. Brunner Huber recently returned from the World Congress of the Academy of Human Reproduction which was held in Rome, Italy from March 15-18, 2017.  Dr. Brunner Huber presented research related to her NIH and HRSA funded studies.  Specifically, she presented findings on how body size is related to adherence to an oral contraceptive regimen.  Several MSPH alumni were co-authors on that poster presentation (Joanna Ball, Katie Farley, and Lauren Graham).  She also presented on factors related to postpartum contraceptive use among women who have recently had a short birth interval.  Kenesha Smith, a PhD student in the Department of Public Health Sciences, was a co-author on that presentation.
