April McTindal Joins Public Health Programs Advisory Board

April McTindal, BSPH ‘14 has been appointed to the Public Health Programs Advisory Board. Ms. McTindal graduated from UNC Charlotte with her BSPH and a minor in gerontology. After graduation, she obtained a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential. She is currently working as the Wellness Consultant at NFP Corporate Services (SE), an insurance and consulting firm. In addition to working with NFP, Ms. McTindal is also a Health and Wellness Educator for Health Made Simple PRO, a mission driven community that features passionate professionals and healthy living advocates. Her passion is in the framework of our society’s healthcare industry that enables or disables one’s ability to achieve a status of optimal health.

Ms. McTindal has continued to be involved with the BSPH program. She most recently served as a BSPH internship preceptor in Summer 2016. Ms. McTindal has been appointed to the Board for a 3 year term through 2019.
